Additional Cervical Fusion - Medical Illustration, Human Anatomy Drawing
This stock medical exhibit depicts the revision of an anterior cervical fusion. The first illustration shows the incision on the anterior right side of the neck. The second illustration shows the exposure of the old fixation plate from C4-C7. The third illustration shows the removal of the old plate. The fourth illustration depicts an anterior discectomy at C3-C4. The fifth illustration shows the placement of an allograft spacer. The sixth illustration shows the placement of a new fixation plate at the C3-C4 level. The final illustration is a lateral view of the post-operative condition, with the old plate removed and the new plate in place.
